Starfish for the YES Daylight Savings Campaign

At Clever Starfish, we support the introduction of Daylight Saving. Not only do we think it’s great for making business with the East coast of Australia easier during the summer, but also because we love the laid-back West Australian lifestyle and that extra hour of sunshine helps us to enjoy it to the fullest.

So, we were delighted when our existing client Fiona Kalaf of Buro Group asked if we would be interested in putting together a web site for the YES Daylight Saving campaign. The campaign’s identity was designed by Brand Agency, and we used their elements to make a bright, sunny web site to help raise awareness of the benefits of daylight saving.

The site is powered by blogging engine WordPress, as news announcements and blog posts are the primary focus of the site. PayPal donations are accepted, visitors can volunteer to help promote the Yes campaign at polling places around the state on the referendum day, and there also the hilarious League of Darkness radio ads which you can listen to on the site. There’s also a Facebook group with over 6,500 fans.

And if you’re a West Australian, don’t forget to have your say on May 16.
