XciteLogic has launched their new responsive website which showcases their new MySchoolDay App. The site features a touch enabled banner manager and sign up form which invites principals and teachers to request a demo of MySchoolDay. The MySchoolDay App enables parents and teachers to interact directly with their school administration, events, news and resources. This creates a sharing environment for all users. Well done XciteLogic!

This week the website for Improvement Resources went live, just in time for a big conference being held in Las Vegas. They needed a site that reflected their unique style and aptly communicated what they do. Here are a few screen captures from the site.
Our launch cake for this site was a delightful chocolate mousse cake! It’s the stuff dreams are made of…
For the last month or so, some of our starfishes have been helping Zap Electric Vehicles to spread the word on how awesome electric bikes are and how they are perfect for us Perthites. ‘Zap‘ felt a great way was to get people up and out on bikes for free…which is a great idea and they are doing this via their Facebook page! After chatting with the crew there I *sort of definitely* pestered my way into being a test-rider for a few days and they graciously let me.
I own a mountain bike, so two wheels is not a new concept for me – and I would ride it to work if it was ‘dress-friendly’ but unfortunately wardrobe issues and sweating has put me off. Amazingly, the ZAP bike negates both these problems. The bike that they chose for me has a graceful ‘old-school’ bar for ladylike mounting/dismounting and does most of the pedalling for me so hence, no sweat! I love it and it is actually 10 minutes quicker than the bus and $27 cheaper a day than driving (not including petrol!). I am seriously considering buying one.
I’m thinking of hooking up some video action for tomorrow… just so you can see how awesome the bike is too. What do you reckon and yes, that is a cake in the back. You don’t think I would consider riding/driving something that would not be cake-friendly do you? Happy Birthday Jayde!
A few months ago, we made a fabulous discovery: The Seventh Duchess tea. As we have a full house of tea drinkers (yes and coffee), new tea comes with much excitement. When we were asked if we would be happy to help her with a new online store, the answer was – of course – a resounding yes.
Jayde and I went to meet the team with a request from the starfishes to ‘try all the teas and bring back at least an Earl Grey’ – which we did. It was delightful and we now have four of her teas in our regular rotation.
We are now in the final stages of site development and just about ready to launch. Their site will feature an online store, a wholesale ordering section and a blog of the latest and greatest in the musings of The Seventh Duchess.
Here is the home page:
… and a peek at the listing page for the online store.
If you are tea drinkers just like us, I would suggest going to their Facebook page or following them on Twitter. I think you have just about enough time to buy a tin and finish it before we launch the site… well at the very least we know we do.
